120th Anniversary of Foundation at Sandy Point, Newfoundland

On July 18, 1893 four Sisters of Mercy and their patron, Mrs. Henrietta Brownell left Providence, Rhode Island to establish a Mercy Convent at Sandy Point on the west coast of Newfoundland. In 2013 we celebrate the 120th anniversary of that foundation.
